Rinus de Jong Invitational
in Bossche Maaspoort
Met USK Praag heeft de organisatie van het Rinus de Jong Invitational-basketbaltoernooi in Den Bosch opnieuw een deelnemer van naam vastgelegd. Het toernooi is van 28 tot en met 30 december en wordt gespeeld in Maaspoort Sports & Events.
De Tsjechische kampioensploeg die uitkomt in de Under18-categorie van het toernooi in Den Bosch, staat in de FIBA-ranking geklasseerd bij de Top-Acht. Het team bereidt zich in Den Bosch voor op deelname aan het kwalificatietoernooi voor de Euroleague-finale in deze leeftijdsklasse dat in de loop van februari in Belgrado wordt gespeeld. Eerder dit jaar speelde USK Praag de finale in Londen van een eerste kwalificatietoernooi van deze door Nike geadopteerd topcompetitie.
Zoals USK Praag op voorhand favoriet is voor de toernooizege in de U18-poule in Den Bosch, is dat bij de U20’ers Mega Vizura Belgrado. Met deze ploeg kwam de toernooileiding in Den Bosch vorige week tot een vergelijk. Verder neemt CBA Gran Canaria met een team in zowel de U20- als U18-categorie deel. Het deelnemersveld wordt in de oudste leeftijdscategorie gecompleteerd door EiffelTowers Den Bosch en Soba Antwerpen. In de U18-poule doen verder Telekom Bonn en het Nederlands team mee.

famous team is present
in Dutch toptournament
With USK Prague the organisation of the Rinus de Jong Invitational contracted another team of fame. The basketballtournament will be held from December 28. till 30. in Maaspoort Sports & Events in Den Bosch (The Netherlands). Last week Mega Vizura Belgrade announced her participation in this event.
The Czech champion will participate in the U18-poule of this tournament, while the team from Serbia is present in the U20category. USK Praag, ranked by the FIBA amongst the Top-Eight in Europe in her category, uses the participation in this tournament as preparation for the Euroleague qualificationtournament that will be held in Belgrade in the course of February. Earlier this season USK Prague played in the final of the high ranked Nike-tournament in London.
As USK Prague is one of the favorites for the victory in the U18-group of this Dutch tournament, Mega Vizura Belgrade is ranked as number one in the U20-poule. CBA Gran Canaria is presented in Den Bosch in as well the U18- as U20-category. The list of participating teams is completed by Telekom Bonn from Germany, the Dutch National team (both U18) and Soba Antwerp (Belgium) and hometeam EiffelTowers Den Bosch (U20).

Servische toptalenten blikvangers van Rinus de Jong Invitational
De Servische Under20 topploeg KK Mega Vizura Belgrado zal van 28 tot en met 30 december deelnemen aan de Rinus de Jong Basketball Invitational. De ploeg uit Belgrado heeft verschillende Servische jeugdinternationals in de gelederen en staat momenteel op de tweede plaats in de nationale competitie. Naast deze publiekstrekker zullen ook het Nederlands team Under18 en de Duitse hoogvlieger Telekom Bonn Under18 deelnemen aan het Final Four-evenement in Maaspoort Sports&Events.
Het deelnemersveld is met twee teams van CBA Gran Canaria, Antwerpen en natuurlijk EiffelTowers Under20 nagenoeg compleet. De organisatie hoopt op 26 november alle deelnemende teams te kunnen presenteren en dan ook het wedstrijdschema bekend te maken.

The Serbian Under20 topteam KK Vizura Belgrade will participate in the Rinus de Jong Basketball Invitational from December 28 till 30 in Den Bosch (The Netherlands). The team from Belgrade has several Serbian international players and is at the moment in second place in the Serbian league. Besides this crowd puller the Dutch National Team Under18 en the German Telekom Bonn Under18 will compete at the Final Four event in Maaspoort Sports&Events.
The field of participants is with the two teams from CBA Gran Canaria, Antwerp and off course the hometeam EiffelTowers Den Bosch Under20 nearly complete. The organisation hopes that all teams are signed by Friday November 26. The game schedule will be presented in the weekend of November 27.
