Als het einde van het jaar naderd ... zijn we toe aan die mooie dagen met veel eten en drinken
en samen zijn met onze geliefden.
Waar in de weekend van 20 en 21 December de Final 4 van start gaat in Katwijk Aan Zee ..
weten jullie nog wel .... de winnaar kon zich in schrijven voor de Europa Cup  ....
Ach .... sweet dream`s van wel eer niet waar .... maar na de poules ronde in die EuroCup Women
zijn de degens gekruisd en de 16 teams die over zijn ... die gaan de play off fase in
met thuis en uit wedstrijden die op 16 en 23 Januari 2014 ingedeeld zijn.

De nummers 1 en 2 van alle poules zijn door en door de behaalde punten en deaantal gemaakte
punten voors en tegen ... werden deze 16 team`s ingelijst van nummer 1 t/m  nummer 16 en
de play offs is het van 1 speelt tegen nummer 16 .. enz. ... enz.

EUROCUP WOMEN LAST 16 PAIRINGS SET

PRESS RELEASES

The pairings of the Eighth Finals of the EuroCup Women have been set after the conclusion of the competition's Regular Season, on Thursday.

The winners and runners up of the seven Regular Season groups along with the two best third-placed teams progressed to the Last 16.

The 16 clubs were ranked from 1 to 16 based on their record (win/loss percentage followed by goal average) and they will face each other in reverse order (the club ranked 1st against the 16^th, the 2^ndagainst the 15^th etc).

Seven countries are represented in the Last 16 with France and Turkey accounting for eight of those clubs.

Kursk and Landes, the only teams in the competition still to taste defeat, travel to Slovakia and Turkey to face Ruzomberok and Tarsus respectively while defending champions Dynamo Moscow's own road trip is to Hungary against PEAC-Pecs.

There is an all-French affair in the matchup between Nantes and Tarbes, while it must be déjà vu forChevakata and Mersin who competed in the same Regular Season group.

The home and away games of the Eighth Finals will be played on 16 and 23 January 2014.
