weten we al .. dat van Kinepolis te Antwerpen waar heeel veeeeeeel lekkers kan eten daar bij de kade bij zo een lekker restaurant`s en cafe`s en zeker de grootste bioscoop van Europa.

Maar La Belgiekeee .. is zeker homme town off Ann Wouters.

BELGIUM BUOYED BY WAUTERS U-TURN

FIBA EUROBASKET WOMEN 2017 QUALIFIERS

Belgium's bid to qualify for FIBA EuroBasket Women 2017 has received an immeasurable boost with news that the legendary veteran Ann Wauters is to make a return to national team duties.
Currently playing her club basketball in her homeland with EuroLeague Women club Mithra Castors Braine who are coached by national team play-caller Philip Mestdagh, the play-caller is one of the main reasons for the ending of a six-year hiatus and effective retirement from Wauters.

However, during that six-year hiatus, Wauters did pull on a national team vest, albeit to represent Belgium in 3x3.
She explained, "I have followed with attention in recent months the operation of the national team and I have seen that there is a motivated and ambitious team, surrounded by 'professional' coaching.

"I am convinced that the Belgian Cats can position themselves with ambitions in these qualifying matches for EuroBasket Women 2017 and I will come willingly.
"I think with such a team, we can achieve great benefits," added the center.

Meanwhile a delighted Mestdagh added, "A player like Ann will undoubtedly put some chili into the Belgian Cats.
"It can push the team to better benefits through motivation and investment.
"Our ambitions are actually to reach the top European level and it is all the more topical with Ann on board."

The addition of Wauters certainly bodes well for the team's game against Poland in next month's qualification window with Belgium searching for a maiden victory having gone down 76-71 against Belarus in their Group G opener last November.
Wauters is likely to form a potentially mouth-watering partnership with Sparta&K M.R. Vidnoje and WNBA star Emma Meesseman under the basket.

12. Ann Wauters (Castors Braine)
