A Letter To 10 Years Old Milos From Valjevo
Daar is een bijzondere brief die ergens in den basketball galaxy diggi snelweg gepost en is geadresseerd aan Milos van 10 jaar oud die woont in Valjevo .... Srbija.
Het is een brief met passie .. liefde ... heimwee waar ik graag met jullie wilde delen.
Hi Milos! You are 10 years old now and nobody calls you Teo yet. You're working out in Valjevo with your brother and dreaming to go somewhere. Maybe to move to Belgrade to play for any team, then to be a part of a bigger sports organisation.
You are an ordinary boy like all of your friends - not bad but unruly and naughty. You spend a lot of time with friends playing on the streets and you are happy with that timetable: minimum 8 hours on the streets, 8 hours at school and 2 hours to sleep. Now you can only dream about medals and awards watching the games of the Yugoslavian National team and its stars: Bodiroga, Djordjevic, Divac, Danilovic. You are sure that it's impossible to achieve such success or even think about it. Those goals are too far away and huge to reach. But you, Milos, are in Valjevo now. So let me introduce myself. I'm Milos Teodosic, or as my team-mates call me - Teo. I'm 29 years old now and I will tell you how marvelous and spectacular your life is going to be.
Your family is your main support throughout life, listen to their advice and trust them fully. It concerns not only basketball but everything. You will never become me without family. Tell many thanks to your first coach right now, because he teaches you how to love this game. He doesn't push you to do a lot of drills or remember a great number of combinations. Remember all of his stories, he teaches you to love basketball. This love is infinite. Never drop school, you have to get good marks or your coach will not allow you to practice.
In nine years you will be absolutely sure that basketball is your life forever. In a year after that you will play in Greece – it’s going to be your first serious professional step – Olympiacos Piraeus. In 2010 FIBA will call you the best basketball player in Europe. It's crazy, you're only 23 but believe me
You will leave Greece and move to Russia where you will have personal ups and downs. Huge ups and painful downs. You will fight a lot with competitors but the most important - with your character. It's hard but you'll be able to become stronger, it will take four years to understand each mistake and you will do it in Moscow. But the prizes for your hard work will be priceless – you will be the star of the Serbian National team and lead it to two historical silver medals – in the World Cup and Olympic games. You will finally win Euroleague with CSKA. And each person in Valjevo will call you the Legend.

Francis Donders ..Final Estonia - Latvia League Cup
Eesti-Läti Ühisliiga: Tallinna Ülikool - FCR Media/Rapla KK (Siim Semiskar)
Het is weer zo ver.
Onze Orange Lion in den vreemde ...Francis Donders speelt weer de Finale van de Beker
van de League waar zij in speelt.
Francis speelt nu in Estonia bij FCR Media/ Rapla KK , waar zij effe een uitstapje maakte naar Down Under deze zomer is zij weer terug in Europa.
Vorige seizoen speelde zij in de Belarus competitie waar zij ook de Beker finale speelde en dat zij met haar team ook die Beker won daar in Belarus en zij de MVP ..was van de gehele Beker toernooi
doet zij het weer waar.
Ik ben benieuwd of Francis haar Point Guard DNA kan laten opborrellen .....
Toch ......
Francis speelt heden dag in Tallin de Beker Finale met haar team FCR Media / Rapla KK tegen Talllinn University en de wedstrijd begint nu als ik deze schrijven met jullie deel.

Round Of 16 ....EuroCup Women
Het is maar hoe je er tegenaan kijkt en wat je interessant vind.
Hoop is dat er ooit ... ook van uit Nederland echte team`s mee gaan doen met de Europa Cup voor de dames teams.
Het zij zo en wie is ondergetekende om daar meer over te schrijven.
Heden dag was her en der in Europa de laatste wedstrijden in de EuroCup Women competitie in de poules fases.
De teams zijn klaar en gaan de Round Of 16 Ronde in. Die word dan opgesteld door alle nummers 1 en 2 in de Poules. Dan worden deze 16 teams opgesteld van nummer 1 tot en met 16 door hun prestaties in de Poules fases en of zij nummer 1 of nummer 2 in de Poules zijn geeindigd.
De 16 team`s zijn bekend en de paringen ook gelijk waar dus nummer 1 van deze ronde speelt dan nummer 16 en waar nummer 2 speelt dan tegen nummer 15 etc. etc.
Deze ronde word gespeeld over 2 wedstrijden een thuis en een uit wedstrijd. Wat wel belangrijk is dat na deze Round Of 16 ronde de 8 overgebleven team`s dan weer samen komen in de volgende ronde voor een plek voor de Kwart Finales waar dan er 8 team`s die afvallen van de EuroLeague Women.
Wat op valt is dat onze zuider buur Castors Braine net niet gehaald heeft deze keer , waar zij toch 3 jaar terug de verliezende finalist waren in deze cup. Maar ook de gevestigde namen als Sparta&K MR Vidnoje ...eeehhh CSKA Moscow zeg maar de wel bekende grootmacht in verleden in dames top basketball hier in Europa heeft het ook niet gehaald.
Waar telleurstellingen zijn ..... zijn er ook verassingen.
Het zij zo en kijken verder naar de Round Of 16 bij EuroCup Women van Fiba Europe.

Going into the final week of the Regular Season, three of the 16 tickets were still to be confirmed. Tournament rookies Rutronik Stars Keltern (GER) and PEAC Pecs (HUN) grabbed two of the places on Wednesday night, whilst Good Angels Kosice (SVK) claimed the final ticket on Thursday.
The Round of 16 participants have been seeded 1-16, based on their win-loss record and points differential in the Regular Season. The top seed plays the bottom seed and so forth, in a home-and-away format. The first leg takes place on 19 January and the return leg one week later.
Following the Round of 16, eight teams to advance to the Round of 8. This will also follow a home-and-away format and will be played on 9 and 16 February.

Es Ist Möglich Schlusss Zagt ... Nowitzki
Het is mogelijk wel waar wat we lazen. Waar alles pijn doet en kwaaltjes her en der de kop op steken
maar wel pas 2 jarige contract getekend bij Dallas Maverick.
De Duitse NBA All Star zou graag 20 jaartjes in NBA vol willen maken ..zegt hij , maar als de pijntjes en de kwaaltjes niet over gaan ..dan kan 2017 wel het einde kunnen zijn.
Het zij zo en wij de fan`s wachten af.

De gewone tickets die fan`s konden kopen waren heden middag om 12.00h in verkoop gedaan en in 1 uur rap tempo tijd en dus in een Record tijd Sooooooooooooolded Ouuuuuuuuuut in Istanbul.
Het waren de tickets voor de Turkish AirLines EuroLeague `s Final Four 2017 te Istanbul.
Meer woorden zijn er niet nodig

An unprecedented response from fans has seen all general public tickets for the 2017 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four sold out on Monday in record time.The general public tickets went on sale, as announced previously, at 12:00 noon CET, and within one-and-a-half hours they were all bought by fans.
The crowning of a new Turkish Airlines EuroLeague champion will take place at the Final Four from May 18 to 21 in Istanbul. Monday's ticket sales rush saw the most buyers from Turkey, followed by Spain, Greece, Israel and Germany to complete the top five.The record pace of sales to the public assures that the 2017 Final Four will feature a full house of fans at the Sinan Erdem Dome, which has a capacity of 14,867 seats for the event.
Fully 80% of that seating total is for the public, with approximately 800 tickets per Final Four team held in reserve for fans of those teams once they are qualified.Additionally, there is a wide range of premium tickets availability with VIP hospitality packages included in both Platinum and Gold categories. Fiba World Cup Bejing 2019
Het is zo ver.
Nou weten wij waar tegen wij ons nieuwe elan en zak met geld aan gaan spenderen.
In Praha was de loting voor FIBA World Cup 2019 Pre - Qualifiers. Zeg maar een voor ronde kwalificatie wedstrijden om in 2017 van af September mee te mogen doen aan de echte kwalificatie wedstrijden met de echte basketball landen van uit Europa.
Nieuwe en oude bonds coach ..coach Van Helfteren en de Orange Lions zijn ingedeeld in Group B en treffen wel een oude bekende daar in en dat is Austria en de derde land is Albania.
Het is het uur U .... voor iedereen en geen gezeik meer

PRAGUE (FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 European Pre-Qualifiers) - The 13 teams that will play in the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 European Pre-Qualifiers were drawn into their respective groups in Prague, Czech Republic on Saturday morning.The draw followed on from Friday's FIBA EuroBasket Women 2017 Draw Ceremony in Prague's Old Town Hall, and the FIBA European youth championship draws, which also took place on Saturday morning.
Under FIBA's New Competition System and Calendar which comes into effect in 2017, 32 European countries will take up the challenge to be among the 12 teams from the region that will qualify to play at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 in China.The 32 teams will consist of the 24 national sides competing at FIBA EuroBasket 2017, as well as 8 of the 13 teams that have registered to play in the Pre-Qualifiers.
The groups for the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 European Pre-Qualifiers are as follows:

Is This A Draw ... '' Time To Shine ''
Het heet loting.
Waar zijn we als we maar iets doen en iets uit een koker trekken. Van te voren is al bekend wie waar gaat komen en word alleen maar de nummers in desbetreffende Poules getrokken.
Dat noemt men and women een Loting.
Heden dag was in Praha de Loting voor EK Dames 2017 te CZE REP.
Hier onder alle info.
Wat we zien is dat al gelijk door LuluHoops uitgeroepen dat Poules B waar
TUR -- ITA -- SLO. REP. -- BLR.
The Group Off Death is.
Ga eindje fietsen aub. Het enige wat je trekt op welke plaats in die poules desbetreffende landen komen en dat noemen we een loting.
Het makkelijkste poules is de poules van onze Zuider buren ..Belgian Cats. Zij kwamen in Poules D trecht. Wens Belgian Cats veeeeeeeel plezier al vast.
Regerende Europesche Kampioen .. Srbija ... die zit in Poules C waar zij powerhouse France tegen komen maar ook de buren ruzie om de hoek komt kijken tegen Slovenia waar ook de sterke outsider Greece van coach George Dikeaulakos aan het roer is.
Ik kan me iets van herinneren waar wij in Groot Hertogdom tegen Greece speelden en ook tegen coach Dikeaulakos waar ik geweldige intermezzzooo had met deze coach en die nare smaak nog steeds niet smaakt na zo veeeeeeel jaren, waar wij de verkeerde keuzes hadden gemaakt toen.
Ach tjaaaaaaa .... zo als gewoonlijk dwaal ik af.
Wat zien wij dan in Poules A .... dat is Spain op gaat neme tegen de organiserende land CZE REP. en waar de thuis land dan ook tegen hun buren Hungary op gaan nemen en dat is weer een buren ruize van andere aard.
Zo als het info hier onder helder is gaan de groeps winnaars naar de Quarter Finals en de groeps laatsten naar huis. Dan gaan de nummers 2 en 3 van elke poules een kruis wedstrijd spelen tegen elkaar ook voor een plek in die Quarter Finals. Dat is dan nummers 2 van poules A speelt tegen nummer 3 van poules B etc. etc.
Dan hoort onder getekende nu al de botten kraken in Poules B in Group Off Death waar die ultieme plek nummer 1 in deze poules kei harde wedstrijden op gaan leveren. Waar die plek dan Spain van Poules A gaat ontlopen. Dat is nu al een vooruit blik. Maar dan zit daar ook de Hooommee Team
het thuis land waar dus de basketball walhalla hutje mutje vol zal zijn.
Dan is de vraag waar CZE REP. de plek nummer 2 gaat bemachtigen is de vooruit blik van ondergetekende. Zou je dan tegen homme team willen spelen in die tussen ronde en de grote kans hebt om naar huis te gaan.
Ach .... wie is ondergetekende en dat noemen we een LOTING.

Draw Seedings Czech Republic 2017
Het is maar voor wie het belangrijk vind nie waar en voor onze Orange Angels is er die hoop en nieuwe elan en al weer op nieuw beginnen.
Voor onze Zuider buren de Belgian Cats is er die nuttige info waar komende weekend in Praha
te Czech Rep. de trekking is voor de Europesche Kampioenschap 2017.
Daar voor zijn de geplaatste landen in een Ranking ... Seedings ..in goed engels bekend gemaakt.
Pot 1 is voor de top team`s die in recent verleden wat hebben laten zien aan de EK`s
Wat we zien is dat top landen als France ... Spain ... Turkey en Russia .. gezien hun staat van dienst van verleden in Pot 1 zijn ingedeeld. en als groeps hoofden in een van de 4 Poules ingedeeld gaan worden.
Onze Zuider buren Belgian Cats zijn na zooooooooooooo veeel jaren als groeps hoofd geplaats voor deze EK waar zij in Pot 4 zijn ingedeeld.
We wachten af hoe de loting uit valt en leven mee voor onze Zuider buren Belgian Cats eeehhhhh
althans ... onder getekende wel.
