Waar wij onze Orange Jonge Angels uitgezwaaid hebben naar Italie voor hun
deelname aan de EK.  U- 20 daar ..... meiden... staf ... iedereen ...
Veeeeeeeeeeeeel ....... Plezier ...... dat is het eerste wat telt ... toch ....

Paar jaartjes terug had ik het genoegen om kennis te maken met coach Ayhan Avci ... toen malige
bonds coach van Turkije  meiden U- 18.
Het was voor mij waar genoegen dat een bijdrage in welke vorm dan ook die ik gedaan heb om zo dat de beide nationale team`s goed konden voorbereiden.

Het was dan ook het begin van een goede vriend schap ... elkaar respecterend en met elkaar kontakt houden en soms elkaar zien ergens ver weg ..... dat was EK in Frankrijk ...... waar ik coach
Ayhan Avci buiten zag voor de deur van de sporthal daar.

Al 7 jaar is hij de coach van Kayseri Kaski Spor ... uit Kayseri ... en in die 7 jaar met het bestuur die in hem geloofd en met passie .... inzet .... investeren en geduld ..... van een provincie club een Europese sub topper heeft gemaakt.
Let wel ..... 2 jaar achter elkaar de finale spelen van Women EuroCup ... met de dramatische ... verlies in eigen huis in Kayseri  ... helaas ....  afgelopen seizoen .. voor eerste keer in Women EuroLeague  ... en dan Final 8 halen in Ekaterinburg  ....
