Al de geweld van over de groooooooooote plas is weer losgebarsten
is het ver van me bed show nie waar.

Ach ... wat intreseert het nou hier in Nederland waar en hoe en wanneer iets  gebeurt
qua basketball , als we maar over de grooooooooote plas maar heen kijken
en likke baardend  .... denken dat we dat ook kunnen bereiken.

Tjaaaaaaaaa ... ik ben weer eens negatief voor de verandering.

Wat ik wilde zeggen is dat de Final Eight van de  FIBA  EuroLeague Women
van 2013 bekend is en dat word gehouden in Ekaterinburg  in Rusland
de thuis haven van UMMC.

De datum is van af 18 Maart tot en met 24 Maart  2013 en

EUROLEAGUE WOMEN

The EuroLeague Women Final Eight 2013 will be hosted by the Russian city of Ekaterinburg and the local club UMMC, FIBA Europe announced on Tuesday.
The season ending tournament of Europe's best women's basketball competition returns to the capital city of the Sverdlovsk Region after the EuroLeague Women Final Four in 2011.
The Final Eight will take place from 18 to 24 March 2013 in the DIVS Sport Hall with a capacity of 5,000 that is regularly filled to the last seat during home games of UMMC.

The best eight teams after the Regular Season and Play-Offs will be divided into two groups of four with the top two in each group qualifying for the Semi-Finals.
"We are glad to return to Ekaterinburg after the big success of the Final Four they organised two years ago" said FIBA Europe President Olafur Rafnsson.
"There are few places in Europe and the World with a similarly enthusiastic crowd."

FIBA Europe Secretary General Kamil Novak agreed.
"The reputation of UMMC Ekaterinburg as a fantastic organisation goes far beyond the EuroLeague Women and I am looking forward to witness the season peak at the Final Eight."
The Governor of Sverdlovsk Region Evgeny Kuyvashev was also delighted to see the EuroLeague Women finals returning to Ekaterinburg.
"I am sure that the efforts of the organisers of the tournament will turn the Final Eight into a bright and unforgettable show, which will present lots of positive emotions to every participant or basketball fan at the event," he said.

UMMC Ekaterinburg's president Andrey Kozitsyn expressed his satisfaction with the decision.
"It is a great honour for us to be presented the hosting rights of the EuroLeague Women Final Eight. As the receiving party, the basketball club UMMC will do its best to justify this trust and conduct the Final Eight at a level, worthy of the strongest clubs of Europe.
"We will make good use of the experience we acquired during the organisation of meaningful events such as the EuroLeague Women Final Four, the Russian Cup Finals and the International UMMC Cup," he concluded.




The 5,000 seat DIVS Sport Hall in Ekaterinburg has seen the successful organisation of the EuroLeague Women Final Four in 2011
